Reiki is a popular and therapeutic treatment used to treat a wide range of stress related conditions. What is Reiki~Seichim?
Reiki~Seichim is a safe natural therapy that promotes healing at all levels by the action of gentle nurturing energy. It is now widely used throughout the world to promote health and personal enhancement.
Where does Reiki originate?
Reiki – is a healing therapy, known to have been used by the Tibetan monks. The name consists of ‘Rei’ meaning ‘universal’ and ‘Ki’ meaning ‘life force’ or ‘energy’.
Seichim – is a healing therapy believed to have been used by the ancient Egyptians and is said to be the parent energy of all ‘hands on healing’ systems.
What does Reiki involve?
A treatment session involves placing the hands gently on the body. The position is changed every few minutes and the whole session usually lasts about one hour. Reiki~Seichim is not a form of massage as the hands remain still and there is no need to remove clothing .
